Puppet Show 
Sweet Pea will be hosting a puppet/marionette show on Friday, April 9th. If the nursery students would like to join us to see the puppet show, they are welcome. We ask that the nursery students arrive at 10:15am, and they will be dismissed at 11:30am. They need to be dropped off at the back (north) door just like they would on a regular school day. Pick up may take a little longer than usual due to both the nursery and preschool students being dismissed.  Please do not come to the front door to drop off or pick up on that day!

Garden Day 
We are celebrating Earth Day this year with a special Garden Day on April 22nd. We will be doing gardening crafts and activities. Students may want to wear gardening clothes, or clothes that can get dirty because we will be doing some planting. The students can also wear their favorite hat that day.

 

Farm Day
Farm Day will be May 20th. Baby animals will be brought to the school that day so the students can learn about them, and pet them. The students are welcome to come dressed in farm clothes if they would like. Please let us know if there are any concerns about animal allergies.

 

Illness
If your child is sick, please do not send them to school. We ask that the students be fever-free for 24 hours before returning to class. This helps prevent the spread of colds and viruses. We want school to be a healthy place!   Thank You!

 

Last Day of School
May 27th is our last day of school. We will be having a “fun day” at school that day to celebrate a great year. We will have lots of fun activities planned. We will also feed the students lunch that day. Lunch will be chicken nuggets, chips and fruit.

 

Back to School Open House
The students that are enrolled in the 2010/2011 school year should watch for a letter in the mail in mid-August for our Back-to-School Open House.
